Amazon Facility Coming to Town of Niagara

Shovel-Ready Site Approved for 550 Million Project

New Distribution Center to Create Thousands of Jobs

The Town of Niagara has given the final go-ahead for Amazon to build a 550 million distribution center on a shovel-ready field at the intersection of Packard and Lockport roads. The project is expected to create thousands of jobs and boost the local economy.

The Town Board voted unanimously to approve the project at a meeting on Tuesday night. The board had previously approved a zoning change to allow for the distribution center, but the final approval was needed to finalize the project.

Amazon has said that the distribution center will employ approximately 1,500 full-time workers. The company has also said that it will invest heavily in the local community, including supporting local schools and businesses.

The Town of Niagara is excited to welcome Amazon to the community. The project is a major investment in the town and will create thousands of jobs for residents. The town is also looking forward to working with Amazon to support the local community.
